Contact with lapped car ends Hedgecock's night at I-75

Cory Hedgecock was one of 28 Southern All Star Dirt Series entries on hand at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) on Saturday night for the third annual Dirt Slinger Classic. Laying down the second fastest time in his qualifying group behind Donald McIntosh, Hedgecock locked into the fourth-starting position for the A-Main. With $5,000 on the line, Cory got connected with a lapped-car while running in third that brought an immediate end to his night on the eighth lap.
