Driver Information

Dan is a racing enthusiast who had his hands on every type of steering wheel or handle bar you can imagine growing up. His passion and dedication has brought him through many avenues of racing; BMX, Motocross, Snocross and Dirt Car Racing which lead him to many awards.

Dan's passion for racing stemmed at an early age as his father Russ worked for legendary racer Dick Trickle during his ASA racing years. Dan attributes a lot of his success to Trickle as they would talk every night after each race discussing the sequence of events, areas they excelled at and areas to improve in.

He successfully raced snowmobiles for 10+ years, medaling at the ESPN 2009 Winter X Games, winning the prestigious 2010 United States Cross Country I-500 race and many championships. In 2012 Dan hung up his snowmobiling helmet that enabled him to follow his passion, Dirt Racing. During the winter months, he took on a management role as crew chief for professional Snocross Arctic Cat Factory Race Team. This entailed managing a six-digit budget along with a crew of seven people, the circuit traveled from Colorado to New York during a five-month schedule of 17 events. In just the second year of his crew chief position, Dan led the Arctic Cat Factory Race Team to the 2013/2014 Team of the Year award given out by the ISOC National Snocross series, the first time Arctic Cat has ever received this award. During the winter of 2015, Dan led on a new adventure as a race technician for 10x Snocross Champion, Tucker Hibbert / Monster Energy / Arctic Cat / RAM Trucks winning team. In 2017 Dan took a shift to work with FOX Shocks, products Dan has been using in his race program since the beginning. He was involved with a wide array of tuning and shock development with diverse divisions within motorsports. Each opportunity has played a crucial role in properly molding Dan for the opportunity he is in today. Since 2021, he is a professional full-time Dirt Modified racer for a team based out of Saint Joseph, MN racing with the highly coveted United States Modified Touring Series.

Dan's work ethic along with his talent and hands on ability are assets that set him apart. Dan is self-motivated and has always been mechanically inquisitive. From the beginning, he is driven to understand the mechanical and technological side of racing, which is critical in the sport.
