Fourth-place finish in Quad Cities 150 finale at Davenport

Drawing 38 cars for the three-day event, Clanton secured his spot into the preliminary feature with a consolation victory after finish sixth in his heat. Moving forward four spots in the 40-lap affair, Shane crossed the line in 13th.

For another $10,000-to-win A-Main on Friday, Shane laid down the fourth-fastest time in his group before placing second in his heat. Rolling off sixth for the feature, Clanton dropped three positions to finish ninth.

On Saturday, Clanton’s second-place finish in his heat positioned him on the third row for the $30,000-to-win Quad Cities 150. After running as high as second on lap 58, Shane went onto place fourth in the 70-lapper. He followed Tanner English, Bobby Pierce, and Shannon Babb across the line with Justin Kay coming in fifth.

Shane is currently ninth in the latest World of Outlaw point standings.
