Trio of Top-10 finishes with World of Outlaws in Kansas and Missouri

After topping the 38-car field in time trials with a 14.310-second lap, Clanton outran his teammate Tyler Bruening in his heat race to pick up the victory. With $10,000 on the line in the feature, Shane ran in the top-five for the majority of the race but faded late in the 40-lapper to finish seventh.

In a field of 34 cars on Saturday at 81 Speedway (Park City, Kan.), Shane’s third-place finish in his heat race placed him on the fifth row for the feature. Losing one spot in the 40-lap affair, Clanton recorded a 10th-place finish.

For Sunday’s $10,000-to-win finale at U.S. 36 Raceway (Osborn, Mo.), Clanton followed up a sixth-place outing in his heat with a 16th-to-10th run in the main event.

Shane is currently ninth in the latest World of Outlaws point standings.
