Johnny Wins-C.O.P.S.- Fan Appreciation Night

Johnny Kringas started the feature race of Fan Appreciation Night at Beaver Dam Raceway in the 10th position.

Through numerous cautions Johnny worked his way to the front.

On Lap 5 Johnny worked up to 4th place, on lap 8 he raced 2nd place when a caution came out.

On the restart Johnny took over the lead and raced #60 car of Drew Papke of a Pro Division driver from North Dakota for most the of race.
Drew and Johnny traded the lead in a close race till lap 14 when Johnny took the lead for good.

This is also Johnny's 4th win of the 2016 season and marked the 3rd win of the C.O.P.S. series races put on by Warren Ropp of Bull Town Legends of IA.

All US Legend Car racers took to the stands for intermission with their helmets in the hand as fans donated to raise money and awareness for surviving family members of Police Officers who were killed while on duty. Johnny and the other drivers raised over $3,000.00 in donations from this race and the Sunday race at Angel Park in Sun Prairie WI.

Once again Mickey Kudlicki superstar car chief went above and beyond to rebuild Johnny’s car after being taken out in a heat race in IA on Thursday night to prepare it for Friday, Sat and Sun races.

The wonderful, wonderful entire crew from All Terrain Auto Body and Detail as this is their 3rd win of the season on with their “Killer” paint job visiting victory lane.

Thanks to all family, friends, fans and supporters of Kringas Motorsports for your constant encouragement.

We would also like to thanks Mike Mueller, Warren Ropp, Nelson Stewart, Craig Peekenscheinder, and members from the Cody Apfelbeck team who helped rebuild Johnny’s car Thursday night after a heat race wreck. Tech inspector Rob went above and beyond to help and try to get Johnny back on the track.
