Johnny Sweeps 2 Wins, Farley IA -Win 7 and 8!

The Yankee Classic
Johnny Kringas brought home two victories from Farley Iowa, with the Thursday night part of Racing for A Cause series put on by Warren and Denise Ropp of Bulltown Legends to raise money and awareness for the C.O.P.S program.
These back to back victories combined for Johnny’s 4 wins in a row!
These high profile races bring in drivers from many states away. Racers from, MN, SD, IN, IL, WI and IA all competed in the race. Over 24 cars showed up for the race and all started.
On Weds night 8/30/16 Johnny started the race in 12th position, and quickly got to the front, running in the top three within a few laps. Late race cautions lead to some very exciting finishes. There were 3 attempts at a green, white checker, to finish the race.
On the final lap coming out of turn 4 to the finish line Johnny won the race.
Thursday night 9/1/16 was the C.O.P.S. big night. A 30 lap main event and National Qualifier Race.
Johnny got a great draw when he pulled the #1 starting position after winning his heat race.
Johnny led every lap of the race, lapping many cars in the field in the process.
This exciting race was a three car breakaway, within a few laps on the very fast track this group of front running cars a more than a straightway on the remaining field.
It was AWSOME to watch them race as they had to work the track, as at times there were cars side by side that were being lapped, and Johnny had to go three wide to make the pass.
Huge thanks go out to everyone who got Johnny’s car ready for the race.
Mickey Kudlicki did his usual AMAZING WONDEARFUL JOB of making the car perfect!
Marc and Scott worked overtime late into the night to fabricate parts needed for the trailer tire rack. Marc hung out this us at the shop as Mickey and Johnny prepared the cars.
Marc also may be known in the future as “Da Ice Man” as he made certain our coolers were stocked with the coldest of ice.
Lisa has been making some great sandwiches!
