Driver Information

Kelly has won races in each of the last 5 decades, from his first wins in 1971 through wins in every decade up to his most recent four wins in 2012. On ovals he's driven IndyCars, Asphalt Modifieds, Super Modifieds, winged dirt and asphalt Sprint Cars and stock cars of all kinds. On road courses he driven a large variety of sports cars, racing karts and motorcycles.

As a team manager / crew chief / mechanic:

1. Ran cars at the Indy 500 nine times.
2. Finished 2nd to Rick Mears in the CART Indy Car season championship.
3. Ran a world class LeMans Prototype out of his shop in Vermont at the 24 Hours of LeMans.
4. Led a small, unknown team to a win in The Hong Kong to Beijing Rally
