Kade has spent his lifetime at the Knoxville Raceway, watching and crewing for his father, and former 360 track champion, Josh Higday. His own driving career began at Knoxville in 2014 when he finished 12th in the 305 standings with his father turning the wrenches.
He stepped things up in 2015, jumping up to 7th in points. More importantly, he joined his father as a feature winner at Knoxville when he picked up a 305 win in late July. He returned to the Pro Sprints class in 2022 and won the track championship in 2023.
