Chance Crum Continues Hot Streak with Fourth Victory at Deming Speedway!
Deming, WA | May 29, 2016 – Heading into Friday’s ninth event of the season at Deming Speedway, Snohomish, Washington native Chance Crum had already asserted his dominance in the Pacific Northwest. Entering the summer on a hot streak, Crum continued his streaky season this weekend as he parked his Farrell Frameworks, Seros Racing Engines, CSI Shocks #83C in victory lane following a late-race pass for the win.
Opening the night with time trials, it was Chase Schmidt in the #87 who started the night on top as he set quicktime with a time of 10.523. Jon Farrell and Joe Constance would take the two heat race wins and line up on the front row of the feature.
Jumping out to the early lead, Constance would hold the top spot for well over half of the 25-lapper. After starting in fourth, Crum would move past Farrell for the second spot on lap 14 and set his sights on Constance. Tracking down the race leader, Crum would strike with the late-race pass on lap 19. Extending his lead in the final five laps, Chance Crum would hang on to score his impressive fourth win of the year at Deming Speedway aboard the Farrell Frameworks #83C.
Last week’s winner of Kyle Mitchell would bring his #7 home in second, Joe Constance fell back to finish third with a podium run, Tanner Holm moved from sixth to finish fourth, and Kevin Wilkinson closed out the top five. Dylan Resch, Isaac Abenroth, Jaden Thomas, Ashleigh Johnson, and Ryley Mayer rounded out the top ten.
