Raidart Racing -
We are first, and foremost, fans of Sprint Car Racing. Racing is something most people will never understand. It's not just a sport or something to do on the weekends. It's a way of life. The track is home away from, a sanctuary. The racing bug, once caught, becomes a part of you. Wherever you may be the sweet scent of methanol from the dirt track welcomes you home.
Zach Raidart A.K.A "The Kid"
At the ripe old age 16, Zach, "The Kid" Raidart has managed to hold his own and gain the attention of fans and respect of fellow drivers throught the Midwest. Touted as one of the future superstars of the sport he has been nicknamed "Hollywood" and caught the attention of many of the sports top drivers with his racing talents and demeanor.
Last season's successes in the realm of mini-sprint competition saw Zach race competitively against the likes of driver’s twice his age. His three seasons in a mini-sprint have prepared him for the next step toward his dream of sitting behind the wheel of a 410 with his childhood hero's on the World of Outlaws circuit. Thankful for all that he learned and experienced as driver of 1200cc Outlaw mini-sprint, the training wheels must come off. The next leg of his journey will be with the MidWest Sprint Car Association (MSA).
At the close of this 2013, and Zach’s third full race season, the youngster was named the Wisconsin MiniSprint Association’s (WIMS) “Most Improved Driver” of the Year.
Branden Raidart
"I get asked all the time why travel so much for a silly sprint car race, the payouts aren't great, low car counts and we always get treated like second-class citizens by track staff and promoters. Here's why: we traveled to Brownstown Indiana yesterday afternoon for a race, we were running late due to the fact that I forgot they were an hour ahead of us. I was starting to panic so I picked up the phone was reassured that they would draw for us and everything will be fine (provided we get there before the first heat race). We made it, we raced and we got to met some of the nicest people on the face of the planet, just as we have at every track we've gone to this year. Zach won the hard charger award, had a ton of fun, and got more seat time. The people we have met this year alone has made every mile worth more than money could buy. Midwest mini sprint association, Mid America lightning sprints, Illinois midget racing association ,Illinois lightning sprints, Raidart Racing wants to thank you. You guys made this year worth every dime and mile."
