Driver Bio- Prudence Peterson #51 - Rookie Season 2026

Prudence is a brand-new dirt car racer competing in the 4-Cylinder class at Lebanon Valley

Speedway on Saturday nights starting April 4th, 2026. Entering her rookie season, she
brings determination, focus, and a strong commitment to learning the craft of racing while
building a professional and competitive race team!

Prudence developed a love for dirt track racing when she was a small kid. This quickly
turned into a dream of “being a race car driver"; fueled by her father Edward F. Gunsch,
(EFG Racing) who raced the #51 (Stock Car) at Orange County Fair Speedway in the 80's
and 90's.

YES, Prudence plans to build on that legacy with her number choice.

Prudence is stepping into her first season with clear goals: to gain experience each week,
improve consistency, and establish a solid foundation for long-term success.
Prudence is a natural competitor who always gives her all. Growing up, she followed her
older brother Masson everywhere, joining in on whatever he and his friends were doing.
She raced BMX bikes and played little league simply because he did-her mindset has
always been, “If he can do it, so can I."

Prudence competed in her first demolition derby this
past summer at the Chatham County Fair in the 6-cylinder class. She came in 6th out of 25+
cars! It was very impressive for her first derby. If she hadn't nicked her transmission line,
she WOULD have made it to the finals.
PS - She will be back this year for redemption.

Prudence is equally dedicated to always representing her sponsors with professionalism
both on and off the track with stellar sportsmanship and positive engagement with fans
