About
I started racing at the age of 4 in motocross in the 50cc division. I raced motocross until the age of 8 when my family saw the problem with motocross was all the time & money spent to compete & travel.
At age 12 I started racing Winged Outlaw Karts at Kam Kartway in the animal class. My first race was in March of 2008 at Kam. In 2008 I came out with no wins but numerous heat wins and a 5th place in the Spring series points and a 2nd in the summer series points at Kam Kartway, along with a 5th place points finish in the SKRA traveling series.
2009 came as my best year yet & an overall magical year. I won my first race on February 8th of 2009, after that the wins seemed to keep coming. I went on to win over half of the races at Kam Kartway in animal along with several podium finishes at Seymour Speedway & Knox City Speedway, along with a points championship at Kam Kartway & voted best overall Jr. driver at Kam Kartway. That winter I competed at the Santa Shootout indoor race in Graham, TX where I finished 4th in animal. Then came the biggest win of my career at the 25th annual Tulsa Shootout (Silver anniversary) in the animal class.
2010 was another good year but not near as good as 2009. I moved up a class to the modified animals where I first competed at the Lone Star Nationals against 18 other modifieds and came from the b main to finish 4th in my first race in a modified! I went on to win a lot more features at tracks like Kam Kartway & Knox City Speedway, as well as several podiums at Seymour Speeedway & other tracks. I also won the modified championship and Best overall sr. driver at Kam Kartway.
2011 came as kind of a questionable season. At the start of the season we decided to move up to the 250f winged outlaw class and won 3 features in that class as well as 4 wins in the modified class.
2012 was a great year as I started off the year running a micro sprint for Rick Bailey and won 4 features with him. I also ran an open outlaw kart for Pierce Racing and won the 2nd Annual Lonestar Kart Nationals. Towards the end of the season my family decided to purchase a 305 Sprint car to run! I ran it 4 races with a 2 top 10 finishes. I also was offered a ride with Johnny Murdock from Zero Motorsports to run his Midget in 2013!
2013 was another amazing year as we ran a full time sprint car schedule with the 305! Over the course of the year we ran 22 races and picked up three wins! On top of that we recieved an unreal opportunity to drive for Bryan Clauson Inc. at the 2014 Chili Bowl where we captured an impressive B-Main run!
We suffered a minor setback in 2014 when our car was basically junked in a big wreck at Boyd Raceway in May. After fighting back from the accident, we picked up a new Maxim Chassis and I went on to make my USAC National Sprint Car Series debut in November at Canyon Speedway Park.
I hope to be involved in racing in some way, shape, or form the rest of my life. And if racing doesn't work out for me I hope to go to college and study mechanical engineering.
Other organizations or sports I am involved in: Organizations I am involved in include FFA (Future Farmers of America), Skills USA, & FCA (Fellowship of Christian Atheletes)
Age: 18 (12/06/96)
Family: I am the son of Richie & Deidra & the brother of Chance Pierce (15 years old). I help my dad on the car every time we work on it and I am home. If he isn’t home, than I work on the cars by myself, doing only what I know how to do
