Kemenah To Race With F.A.S.T This Weekend
Chad Kemenah returned home from the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup and decided he was going to race this weekend at the Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Raceway. Kemenah felt comfortable during the Kings Royal weekend as Friday night he’d been running 8th in the feature until he had a flat tire. Saturday was a good 2nd quick qualifying effort and finished 14th in the feature event.
“We have been racing a lot better here the past few weeks even though the results don’t show it,” said Kemenah. “I have never been one to make excuses for our results but AJ Havens and I have been working hard and we just need some bounces to come our way once in a while and hopefully we get back in the win column soon.”
Kemenah is no stranger to the Attica Raceway Park, the Alvada, Ohio driver started his sprint car racing career at the track and has a lot laps around the always entertaining 1/3 mile track.
“I always enjoy racing at Attica, it’s a great track with multiple lanes and not only is it fun to race on but I am sure the fans have witnessed some excellent races there over years,” said Kemenah. “Right now we are trying some things to see how the car responds and I expect the competition level on Friday and Saturday night to be intense as usual so we will go out there and race as hard as we can and try to bring home our first win of 2014.”
The Knoxville Nationals are just a few weeks away, Kemenah and crew member AJ have been busy at the shop getting there Nationals Car and motor all ready to go for the trip out to the Knoxville Raceway located in Knoxville, Iowa.
“Our Knoxville Nationals car is nearly done just a few things to complete but we are definitely ahead of schedule,” Kemenah suggests. “We had an excellent qualifying effort at the Kings Royal on Saturday and we will need that again at the Nationals because it can really set the tone on how the rest of your week will turn out. I would love to get locked into the A-Main on our qualifying night so we don’t have to run on Friday night but all we can do is put forth 100% effort and everything else will hopefully take care of itself.”
