Driver Information

I currently drive the Bunge Racing, B&H Race Parts LLC, #73 ARCA Street Stock at Flat Rock Speedway. Occasionally, you'll see us running our car in the Late Model Sportsman class at Corrigan Oil Speedway (formerly Spartan Speedway - Mason, MI) or Springport Mid-Michigan Speedway (Springport, MI). The Bunge Racing team was started in 1971 by 3-time ('92, '93, '94) Flat Rock Speedway ARCA Outlaw Super Late Model Champion, Steve Bunge.

The dream to drive Steve's car started over 30-years ago when I was a child attending weekly races at Flat Rock Speedway. I immediately noticed Steve's "Bunge Blue" #71 zipping around the track. I was an instant fan! Sitting with the Bunge family weekly turned into me becoming an "adopted" part of their family. I watched Steve's children race and then Steve's grandchildren. The dream to drive for Bunge Racing never went away over 30 years of friendship. In 2022 I approached Steve and his wife about this dream and....here we are today driving for Steve.

2023 saw me run nearly a dozen or so races at Flat Rock Speedway, the Harvest race at Corrigan where I finished 10th, and the Michigan Cup race at Springport where we did not have a great outing due to mechanical issues. With a high car count and very challenging group of driver at Flat Rock Speedway, I saw myself running mostly B-Main (with a few A-main's sprinkled in here and there). I finished my rookie season with one 8-lap heat race win and one 25-lap B-Main feature win. I finished 5th in B-Main points and was chosen Flat Rock Speedway's 2023 Street Stock B-Main Rookie of the Year!

Rookie Season (2023):

• 5th place points finisher in Street Stock B-Main Class
• 2023 Flat Rock Speedway Street Stock B-Main Rookie of the Year

Winning my first-ever feature event (only my 7th race ever!) in front of my entire family and a large crowd on one of the biggest nights at Flat Rock Speedway (Stan Yee Memorial 150 night).
