Hodges Motorsports Update - Jackson Motor Speedway

The 2nd round of the holiday triple header with the ASCS Gulf South is over at the Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Mississippi. I pulled pill 5 to start the night, and that put me on the pole of the 3rd heat. The track was getting real slick through the middle, but we were pretty good in hot laps so we made minor adjustments. That turned out to be a mistake, and through the heat race I was just hanging on, and I fell back to 4th when I spun in turns 3 and 4. I finished last in the heat race, and that put me at the back of the B feature. Now we made huge changes trying to get the thing hooked up. In the B, I started in 13th, and after one lap was up to 8th after passing a couple cars, and a few involved in a wreck. After that I worked myself past a couple more cars in to the transfer spot, but fell short in the closing laps finshing 7th in the B. I wasn't happy with the car in the B either, but we have a feeling we know why it is getting so uncomfortable, and we'll give it one last shot this weekend in Chatham, Louisiana at Jones Motor Speedway.
