Tulsa Shootout

Kenny Brewer and Josh Hodges are ready to go for this year’s 27th Annual Tulsa Shootout held this Thursday through Saturday, kicking off the New Year the right way, slinging dirt and burning rubber. Kenny will be piloting the Mike Brewer owned #45 SPAR powered Hyper while Josh will be behind the wheel of the #38 SPAR powered Hyper team car. The 21 year old Kenny Brewer is Hyper’s leading main event winner on the year with 15 feature wins and has high hopes for this year’s Tulsa Shootout after making the feature last year in the winged “A” class. This year he will drive both winged and non-wing Outlaw along with teammate Josh Hodges who is stepping into the car normally driven by Mike Brewer. This will be his first time driving a micro in almost two years after moving up driving winged and non-wing ASCS 360 sprint cars in the Napa Auto Parts, Kronik Energy Drink #74x for the past few seasons. Josh is confident in the equipment and excited to climb back in for the Tulsa Shootout. The cars are sponsored by Paul Greenberg with Amsoil, Joe Wilson, Winklers Auto Body, and Professional Paint Supply, and Mike Brewer and Jack Hodges will crew chief the cars with Mark “MacDaddy” Rosborough also a part of the crew.
