Ericka Ray
Rocklin, CA
Driver Information
From a young age, Ericka had one dream-to become a NASCAR driver. This California native was immersed in the racing culture at a very young age. She witnessed her dad and uncles conquer the challenging third-of-a-mile oval tracks. The celebrations with her family in the winners' circle fueled Ericka's ambition to stand there herself one day.
Ericka marked her debut in the NASCAR Whelen All American series in 2018, a remarkable feat at the tender age of 15. In her rookie season, she surprised the racing community as she not only claimed the title of the youngest driver but also stood as the sole female competitor in her division. In a male-dominated sport, Ericka faced skepticism from those who doubted her goals to compete with the boys. Yet she remained focused, keeping her eyes on the ultimate prize.
Relocating to Kentucky, Ericka ventured into dirt track racing for the 2023 season. In her first ever dirt race, she achieved an impressive 6th place finish. In her rookie season, she was the first runner-up for the title of "Track Champion" at Paducah International Raceway. Ericka's dedication to improvement and continual learning is proved every time she takes to the track.
