Camden Murphy
Itasca, IL
Driver Information
#85 Camden Murphy of Itasca Illinois started racing when he was nine years old on the ultra competitive Central States Region (CSR) Super Cup Series. Just a few years later Murphy is one of the hottest young drivers currently racing on the national short track scene. Murphy has shown his diversity to jump in any race vehicle and WIN. Coming off his most celebrated season in 2009; Camden amassed twenty plus feature wins and four titles. Most interesting is that all of this “veteran success” came at just fourteen years of age.
The word versatile is defined as : “Capable of or adapted for turning easily from one to another of various tasks, fields of endeavor”. That clearly describes the drive and character of Camden Murphy.
Murphy has proven to be competitive in every machine he drives. From stock cars, to NASCAR trucks to open wheel and road course cars – Murphy excels and WINS!
It is amazing the resume Murphy has amassed at a young age. Along the way he has gained respect, earned every position and proven he belongs in the sport of auto racing. It is time that this talented young man gains his well deserved opportunity to represent the sport in a way that has not been seen in decades. Through hard work, grit and determination.
