GOODWIN'S INDIANA MICRO WEEK FINISHES STRONG
THREE OAKS, MICHIGAN - (July 2nd, 2025) - Five races, Seven days, and 533 miles of traveling later...Goodwin overcame hurtles to finish strong during Indiana Micro Week!
The week started off at Miami County Raceway in Peru, Indiana. Struggling with the new fuel injection system and new engine "bugs", Garett was only able to Qualify and run the Heat Race before having to withdrawal from the event for mechanical failures.
Tuesday's schedule was at US 24 Speedway in Logansport, Indiana. Three + Motorsports worked with Garett during the week on tuning the Fuel Injection system. Making slow improvements on the tune, Goodwin found more speed throughout the day but fell short on making it into the show through the B-Main.
Wednesday was a travel day for the teams so they could make their way south to race Thursday at Columbus, Indiana's - Tony Stewart Speedway at the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds. Due to the new track conditions that presented itself to the teams, Garett made a very difficult decision to sit out for Thursday's race to conserve their equipment for the rest of the week because of funding.
There was no racing on Friday so the teams could make the trip over to the last track of the week to the Rush County Fair short track. With the rain and storms that came through on Saturday afternoon, the race got postponed to Sunday afternoon as a make up race. Garett showed speed during the morning to bring home a 13th place finish in the make up Feature. Following that, they ran the regular scheduled event for the last race of the week. Goodwin was able to finish the week off strong with an 8th place finish, capturing his second Top Ten of the season.

We finished Indiana Micro Week strong with solid finishes. Garett placed 18th out of 60 drivers In Indiana Micro Week standings. Goodwin is currently sitting 9th in the HART Series championship standings.
