NORTH JACKSON, Ohio (April 25, 2016) – Jack Sodeman, Jr. wrapped up his most recent weekend of 410 sprint car competition with a pair of podium finishes in Western Pennsylvania, highlighted with a runner-up performance at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver on Friday night, April 22. The second generation racer concluded his weekend travels across the western half of the “Keystone State” with a third place finish at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer on Saturday, April 23. Sodeman now has three podium finishes in four starts thus far in 2016, with his worst performance of the season equalling a sixth place finish at Lernerville Speedway during its opening night of competition.

“We’ve been on a great run so far, so hopefully we can keep that going,” said Jack Sodeman, Jr. “We were in a position to win on both nights this past weekend, just couldn’t quite get it done. We have a long season ahead. If we keep racing like we have been, the wins will come.”

Jack Sodeman, Jr., pilot of the Glassmere Fuel, Economy Tooling, PRS Transit, Townsend Gas & Oil, Inc., Butlerbuilt, No. 23JR, will return to competition this Friday and Saturday, April 29-30, with another tour through Western Pennsylvania. The 2015 Mercer Raceway Park track champion will enter the upcoming weekend second in the current Lernerville Speedway 410 sprint car track championship standings, and well within the top-five of the current Mercer Raceway Park track championship standings. Weekend action will begin at Lernerville Speedway on Friday, April 29, followed by a trek north to Mercer Raceway Park on April 30.

“I just want to thank all of those who helped get this team up and running this season,” said Sodeman. “We have an amazing sponsor group and a lot of people who come out and support us every weekend. We’ll get a win for them sooner than later.”
