Driver Information
Born in 1974, Michael has accomplished everything he's ever dreamed up and more. Born and raised on the poor side of Washington state, he grew up racing anything with wheels. He served in the United States Air Force at Holloman Air Force Base in Alamogordo, NM from 1993-'94. He loves fishing, speed, board sports, serving others/ mission trips and the outdoors. He was a bridge builder from 1997-2015. He helped build bridges in Kentucky, Washington state, California, New Mexico, Utah and on the North Slope of Alaska. Michael has been married to team co-owner, Lisa Hartman since 1995. They co-own LGH Construction, LLC. They have built tiny homes, concrete structures, remodels and small to large landscape and earthwork projects. They have raised two incredible children in to adulthood. Their son Tyler has a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington. Their daughter Haley is sharpening her skills to become a young entrepreneur. Lisa and Michael have travelled much of the world, mainly as Christian missionaries. Michael became a B52 Bomber, in 1984. His cousins and he all rocked the number, BMX racing. Announcer would say- "We have another B52 bomber in this race!" as they took their turn racing whatever Redline BMX bike they had available. Usually not their own.
Michael volunteered on the Hacienda Carpet and Tile 12 Team during the 2020- 2021 seasons.
Michael co-founded B52 racing in late 2021.
