My name is Ron Pope. I have been racing since I was 20. I use to help my dad and Uncle race. I decided to give it a shot. I race at Fayetteville Motor Speedway, Halifax, Lakeview, and Country line. I have had the opportunity to race in just about every class from late model, open wheel, vintage, superstreet, and street stock. I own a superstreet and street stock car. I have had a lot of success in the superstreet class winning my first championship at Fayetteville Motor speedway. I was undefeated for many years when I got my Walter Newman superstreet in 2016. I also won the king of superstreets and Friday night Fights series at Fayetteville motor speedway. I also picked up a championship at Lakeview, winning 9 out of 10 races that year. I was also named driver of the year at Lakeview motor speedway. Last year, I had the opportunity to purchase a street stock and start racing it. This year I will be back in my street stock and look forward to having fun! I appreciate all my sponsors who help support me. I work hard on my car to make it a top car each night I race. Biography
Hi My name is Ron Pope, I am from Erwin NC. I have raced since I was about 17 years old. I grew up helping my uncle and dad race and wanted to try it myself. I enjoy this sport and love to see it grow. I love supporting my local tracks. I have raced County Line, Halifax, Lakeview and Fayetteville Motor Speedway. I have had a successful racing career in the super street class. I was undefeated for several years. During that time, I was able to pick up a championship win for the season, King of Superstreet championship and Friday night Fights Championship at Fayetteville Motor Speedway. That was a huge check off my bucket list! I have also been recognized as the Driver of the year for Lakeview Motor speedway .I recently switch classes to run Street stocks. Last year was my first year running the class. I look forward to the 2026 season running street stock again. I work hard to make my car a top car to watch each night, so the fans have a great show to watch. I appreciate all my sponsors that help me and my pit team.

Most Memorable Moment
Of course the championships! Calling my wife at 12:00 on a Saturday and said I'm heading to Georgia to race tonight. Me and Brandon Marshall loaded up and headed out. This was a track I had never been to before. We made it in time to start at the back for the heat race. Won it, then won the race!
