Robert Ballou
Rocklin, CA
Driver Information
Robert began his racing career on the west coast in quarter midgets at the young age of 5 years old. Robert quickly proved he had a natural gift when sitting behind the wheel of a racecar. After many years of affectionately being nicknamed "Bug" in his early racing career, he was well on his way to becoming "The Madman" and of course the original favorite "The Rocklin Rocket".
Now 28 years later Robert has successfully built what is now referred to as "Ballou Motorsports". Ballou Motorsports is a primarily self-funded team but we are thankful to have a couple amazing sponsors to stand behind us year in and out. This team wouldn't be where it is today without the people that have stood behind this team all these years. Robert is one of the few current National drivers that owns his own team, is the primary crew chief and mechanic along with being the main driver of the rig to and from each racing event.
