Driver Information

Hi my name is Charlie. I’m 10 years old now. I started my racing career when I was 9. I have raced on Dirt for one year. My Grandpa Brian took a 1/4 midget and converted it to fit the rules of the local tracks around the Shawnee area. We ran in the jr kart division. We had some ups and downs with the car but I finished with 7 Seconds and two Firsts for the season. My grandparents and I talked about us moving up to a different class of car. So we decided that the Jr Sprints would be a great move. Now this is where it gets interesting. After looking for a great car and deal we found a car that was for sale in Tulsa. Curtis Jones had just the car we was looking for. After looking at it we decided to purchase it from Curtis. Then we found out the car really came from Brandon Mabe. His son Hayden Mabe had been racing it and had Won the Track Championship at Port City. Wow no pressure here. I’m looking forward to having the opportunity to come race at Port City Raceway. My grandpa says we are behind the 8ball on getting it painted or wrapped for the upcoming season. We may have to practice with it being Hayden’s color Yellow. Sorry Hayden.
