Landon Britt Back in the Driver's Seat at Lake Ozark

Landon Britt returned to action with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network on Saturday night at Lake Ozark Speedway (Eldon, Mo.).

Thirty-nine Sprint Car drivers registered for action, and Landon backed up the third-fastest time in his qualifying group with a third-place finish in his heat race.

He started 16th in the feature before being retiring to a 16th-place finish on lap 16.

On Sunday the final leg of the weekend was held at the 1/3-mile oval. Starting the night with the fourth-fastest qualifying time in his group, Landon then finished second in his heat race to lock into the 11th-starting spot for the feature.

The 25-lap finale found Landon crossing the finish line in 14th.

Landon sits seventh in the latest Lucas Oil ASCS national standings.
