Robards paces RS12 Motorsports with top-10 finish at Doe Run Raceway

The four-car RS12 Motorsports operation visited Doe Run Raceway (Doe Run, Missouri) on Friday evening to take part in the track’s Fan Appreciation Night.

The team fielded three entries in the 20-car-strong Outlaw Winged Micros class for Harrison Robards, Matt Bagby and Brian Rieck.

Robards finished seventh in his heat race on the 1/6-mile clay oval, putting him 15th on the grid for the 20-lap A-Main. He moved steadily forward in the feature to score an eighth-place result.

Meanwhile, Matt Bagby also finished seventh in his heat race driving for RS12. He started 14th in the night’s feature race and picked up one spot, coming home in the 13th position.

Brian Rieck rounded out the trio of team entries in Outlaw Winged Micros. He suffered a flip in his heat race, relegating him to a 10th-place result. He was unable to make the call for the A-Main.

Young Austin Rieck was also at Doe Run in the L206 Beginner class, but he did not start either his heat race or main event.
