Debby Forces Changes in Weekend Schedule

Race teams and fans, given the tropical storm approaching our area and predicting rainfall over the next 3 days and discussions with our preparation team we have determined there would be a lack of a window of opportunity to prepare the facility with losing 3 days of preparation time, we will be forced to cancel the Thursday night event and postpone the Saturday morning Mega Truck Show.
The Thursday Night Street Event, August 8 will be cancelled. We will attempt to find a reschedule date, if possible. Our next Friday Night Street Fight event is scheduled for August 23.
The promoters of the Premier Mega Truck team and SDM Promotions are rescheduling their Saturday, August 10 event to Saturday, October 12.
The US 13 Dragway weekend, October 11-13 will need to be cancelled to accommodate this change. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The Saturday Night, August 10, Dale Forse Memorial, we have a couple of options. If the rain totals stay low we can race as scheduled. Race teams will be asked to watch extremely wet areas in the pit area. If we get upwards of 3-5 inches we will move the Saturday night Speedway show to Sunday with a 2 pm opening time, hot laps at 4 pm, then race. We want to do our best to get the Speedway race completed as we are in the final road to the points championship.
A decision on Saturday night will be made by Friday morning to give those teams enough time to plan accordingly.
Summer can be tricky when we get an early hurricane/tropical storm because they typically ruin multiple days in a row. We deeply apologize but wanted to give our teams notice to plan accordingly.
Our next Speedway event will be Blue Hen Disposal Night, August 24.
