Finally
After taking a small break in the Sport Mod and getting the car back into shape again, we went back to give it some more laps. After getting another win at Beatrice Speedway on Fair night as well as several top 5's, we finally got our 1st win at Stuart Speedway last night. Had one of my best races against Shawn Cooney for the entire feature. Means a great deal to race that close with someone I respect so much as well as the Luellens and all the other great Sport Mod drivers, really enjoy racing these great guys. Still miss all my guys back home but have had the opportunity to get to know the Stanton family, have always admired their racing program and now I can also add great family to that list. Having Shawn and his Shawn Stanton Motorsports come on board with me and come along and help me has been a tremendous help to me. No one can do this stuff alone well, it can be done but not with any amount of success. My sponsors stay with me and continue to support me as we try and step up a class. My little crew chief put the finishing touches on the car yesterday and is making all the difference. So again, thank you everyone who helps or just encourages me along the way, racing is a mental sport as well as a mechanical one, you all have helped me get it in the right prospective and helped me show we can do this.
