Rain forces cancellation of Championship Night at US 36 Raceway
OSBORN, Mo. – Due to overnight thunderstorms and more forecasted rain later tonight, US 36 Raceway officials have decided to cancel racing for Aug. 16.
This will conclude the championship chase for the season as US 36 will focus on the remaining specials scheduled for 2019.
US 36 offers a big congratulations to our 2019 champions; Chad Clancy in the IMCA Modifieds, Mike Housman Jr. in the IMCA Sprint Cars, Blake Peeler in the IMCA Stock Cars, Steven Clancy in the IMCA Sport Mods, Connor Masoner in the Pure Stocks and Gary Ainsworth in E-Modifieds.
US 36 Raceway has two big post-season events planned as on Saturday Sep. 28 the high-banks will see the ASCS Warrior Region and Nebraska 360 Series come together for the big show. The Sprint Series of Nebraska will also make a return appearance. The event will also see the E-Modified and Pure Stock Nationals hit the track. Then on Oct. 9-12, it is the inaugural IMCA Missouri Nationals. Details are being finalized for the two events and more information will be released soon.
