Nelson, Wood, and Blackbourn Notch Wins in Session Two of World Series of Pulling Presented by Ohio CAT
**Charlestown, IN (July 22, 2022) – ** Action continued at the World Series of Pulling presented by Ohio CAT with session two that started at 10am Friday morning. Three new classes made their way to the track with aspirations to gain a berth into the finale on Saturday night.
ARP Lightweight Super Stock Tractors had a field of 13 machines tested by the General Tire Decision Maker. Team Chizek and the driving duo of Josh and Terry Blackbourn locked up the top two spots of the class with Josh putting the Armed and Dangerous-Deadly Force CaseIH in first and Terry piloting the Considered Armed and Dangerous CaseIH in second. Soaring into the third spot was Scott Whitworth and the NK Yield Express Deere.
Twenty eight Optima Batteries Super Modified Trucks aimed to conquer the SMP track and were matched with the Protect the Harvest X-Factor sled. Jeremy Nelson and the Midnight Gambler Dodge watched as the class lead exchanged hands multiple times with RJ Simon and the Loud and Low Chevy holding the lead until Nelson’s pass on the next-to-last hook scored him the class win, his second win for 2022 on the Champions Tour. Finishing third was Nelson’s wife and teammate Misty in the After Midnight Chevy.
Completing the session was the MAC Trailer Hot Rod Semi division with eight ground pounding trucks. Maintaining his 2021 championship form was Chris Wood rocketing into first place driving the Class Act Peterbilt. Another former class champion, Ryan Debroux, finished second piloting the Playin’ with Fire KW. Joe Giulitto guided the Full Spool machine into third.
