RepairableVehicles.com Tri-State Late Model Series announces “Great 18” points structure
The 2021 season is set to be the biggest in the history of the RepairableVehicles.com Tri-State Late Model Series. With a giant schedule set for the season, drivers across the Plains states can now take notice of an enticing new points structure and the introduction of RepairableVehicles.com Premier Events.
First, the new points structure will give the Tri-State teams a new target to aim for, known at the “Great 18.” Every driver who competes at any event on the 2021 Tri-State Late Models Series calendar will collect points for that event. Drivers will tally their top 18 points events for the season that will count toward their championship run. Drivers who compete in more than 18 events will utilize their top 18 events on their tally.
Additionally, the series will have four Premier Events in 2021. Those events are made up of the Ben Nothdurft Memorial at Huset’s Speedway on May 31, the July 9-10 event at Jackson Motorplex that runs in conjunction with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Models, and the Sept. 14 return to the Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa. These events will be must haves on the schedule for a team to compete for the series title.
TSLM will explain the point structure, including Premier Events in greater details in the coming weeks.
