Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (July 15, 2019) – This is a busy week for Jackson Motorplex as two stellar shows are on tap.

The action begins on Wednesday evening with the $10,000-to-win Sea Foam 50 presented by State Bank of Fairmont featuring the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Heartland Steel RaceSaver Sprint Cars presented by Wyffels Hybrids and the Late Model Street Stock Series.

It marks the only visit of the season for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and some of the world’s top late model drivers. It’s also the final race in the state of Minnesota for the series this year.

Scott Bloomquist set quick time during qualifying, won a heat race and captured the main event from the pole during last year’s series debut at Jackson Motorplex.

Bill Johnson owns a 15-point lead over Brandon Bosma in the Heartland Steel RaceSaver Sprint Cars presented by Wyffels Hybrids championship standings entering the event. The top five in the standings are within 24 points with John Lambertz 21 points out of the lead, Colin Smith 23 points behind Johnson and Kaleb Johnson 24 points from the top spot.

Dave Kuchta won the lone Late Model Street Stock Series race at Jackson Motorplex so far this year.

The pits open at 2 p.m. with the grandstands opening at 4 p.m. Hot laps start at 7 p.m.

General admission tickets (Rows 1-10) are $30 for adults and $15 for children ages 6-years-old to 12-years-old. Reserved tickets (Rows 11-20) are $33 for everyone. Children 5-years-old and younger get in free. Pit combos are only $10 with a grandstand ticket. A pit pass for an adult is $40 and for children ages 12-years-old and younger it’s $25.

This week will then be capped on Friday for Livewire Printing Company Night and the Barb Wieskus Memorial featuring the DeKalb/Asgrow presents the Midwest Power Series and Midwest Sprint Touring Series 360 sprint cars, Heartland Steel RaceSaver sprint cars presented by Wyffels Hybrids and NSL non-wing sprint cars presented by HitchDoc.

Lee Grosz is the most recent winner during DeKalb/Asgrow presents the Midwest Power Series and Midwest Sprint Touring Series 360 sprint cars competition at Jackson Motorplex. He joined Brooke Tatnell and Jack Dover as drivers to reach Victory Lane this season.

Friday’s feature will pay $3,000 to win and $400 to start during the Barb Wieskus Memorial. The Wieskus Family has also added money to the purse for 360ci winged sprint car teams.

While the Heartland Steel RaceSaver sprint cars presented by Wyffels Hybrids has a tight points battle, Brandon Halverson has given himself some room atop the NSL non-wing sprint cars presented by HitchDoc standings thanks to his second victory of the season last week. Halverson has a 27-point lead in the standings over Alex Schriever.

The pits open at 3 p.m. with the grandstands opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps start the racing action at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $17 for adults, $12 for seniors and $5 for students ages 13-years-old to 18-years-old. Children 12-years-old and younger get in free. Pit passes are $35 for adults and $20 for children 12-years-old and younger.

Fans can bring their ticket from Wednesday’s race and receive $5 off admission on Friday.

Also, Jackson Motorplex Kids Club members should bring their member pins back to receive a free autograph book. If a member gets 10 autographs he or she will receive a free Jackson Motorplex t-shirt.

There will also be a Money Drop for children ages 10-years-old and younger prior to the National Anthem.

Also of note, camping is available at the track and suites are available for Friday’s race. Call 605-359-4955 for either.
