Six Classes on Tap This Saturday During CD 107.7 KICD-FM Spencer Night presented by Billion Auto – Buick GMC at Jackson Motorplex

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (Aug. 14, 2017) – Jackson Motorplex will light up on a rare Saturday night this weekend.
The half-mile dirt oval features 410 Outlaw Sprints Fueled by Casey’s General Store, Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA a mods, Bohl’s Small Engine IMCA sport mods, Fairmont Awards IMCA hobby stocks, Heartland Racing Association non-wing sprints presented by HitchDoc and the Late Model Street Stock Touring Series during CD 107.7 KICD-FM Spencer Night presented by Billion Auto – Buick GMC.
With only a handful of races remaining for each class, the championship points battles are coming down to the wire.
Mark Dobmeier holds a 56-point lead over Brooke Tatnell in the 410 Outlaw Sprints Fueled by Casey’s General Store championship standings with Tim Kaeding only 63 points out of the lead and Matt Juhl 95 points behind Dobmeier.
Mat Hollerich has a seven-point edge over Denny Anderson in the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA a mods standings. Don Gerritsen Jr. is 28 points out of the lead and Kelly Shryock is 29 points behind Hollerich.
Justin Luinenburg leads the Fairmont Awards IMCA hobby stocks standings by a mere three points over D.J. Clinton with Ben Peterson 25 points behind Luinenburg and Corey Schreiber 54 points back.
Matthew Looft is five points ahead of Dan Paplow in the Bohl’s Small Engine IMCA sport mods standings. Jason Andrews is only seven points out of the top spot and Kyle Steuber is 13 points behind Looft.
Saturday will be the sixth race of the season for the Heartland Racing Association non-wing sprints presented by HitchDoc. Brandon Halverson has two wins with Doug Schenck, Clinton Bruns and Alex Schriever also visiting Victory Lane.
Cory Yeigh charged from ninth to claim the only Late Model Street Stock Touring Series race at Jackson Motorplex this season.
The pits will open at 4 p.m. with the main gates opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors 62-years-old and older and $10 for students ages 13 to 18. Children ages 12 and younger get in free.
Local Casey’s General Stores have $5 off coupons that can be applied toward grandstand tickets.
