Kaeding, Paplow, Duffy, Nielsen and Halverson Record Wins During ASI Night at Jackson Motorplex

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (July 14, 2017) – Tim Kaeding and Dan Paplow each picked up their second victory while Chris Duffy, Roger Nielsen and Brandon Halverson scored their first triumphs of the season at Jackson Motorplex on Friday during ASI Night.
Kaeding charged from seventh to capture his second straight 410 Sprints Fueled by Casey’s General Store A Main. Mark Dobmeier maneuvered from sixth to a runner-up result, which regained him the lead in the championship standings. Scott Winters placed third with Brooke Tatnell fourth and Travis Whitney fifth.
Dobmeier and Matt Juhl each claimed a heat race win after Whitney set quick time during qualifying.
Duffy became the eighth Heartland Steel RaceSaver 305 Sprints feature winner in 10 races this season as he earned the triumph after starting on the pole. Trevor Serbus powered from eighth to second place with Colin Smith, 12th-starting Dusty Ballenger and Dave Becker rounding out the top five, respectively.
Mike Stien, Smith and Jeremy Schultz were the heat race winners.
Nielsen also took advantage of the pole position to garner his first win of the season in the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA a mods division. Dan Menk finished second with Don Gerritsen Jr. third and Mark Noble fourth. Mat Hollerich ended fifth to take over the lead in the championship standings.
Paplow advanced from sixth as he snapped points leader Matthew Looft’s four-race winning streak in the Bohl’s Small Engine IMCA sport mods class. Looft advanced from eighth to second place with Eric Kinnetz third, Jason Andrews fourth and Kyle Steuber fifth.
James Jenkins and Kinnetz both recorded a heat race victory.
Third-starting Halverson became the third different winner in three Heartland Racing Association non-wing sprints presented by HitchDoc A Mains this season at Jackson Motorplex. Derek Anderson held off eighth-starting Alex Schriever for the runner-up position as Clinton Bruns placed fourth and Jimmy Kouba was fifth.
Brandon Stevenson and Anderson each scored a heat race win.
