Jackson Motorplex Doubles IMCA Sport Mods Purse This Saturday

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (June 14, 2016) – Jackson Motorplex is doubling the entire purse for the Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA sport mods class this Saturday.
The feature will now pay $500 to win, $320 for second, $270 for third and so on as each position’s pay is twice the regular purse.
“We are going to feature an IMCA class each Saturday night with an enhanced purse,” Jackson Motorplex General Manager Doug Johnson said. “On Saturday, June 25, the Dominick Bruns Memorial race will pay $1,000 to win for IMCA stock cars.”
This Saturday’s event at Jackson Motorplex will include the Wilmont Oil IMCA a mods, Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA sport mods, Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA hobby stocks, Boji Bay Water Park IMCA sport compacts and IMCA stock cars.
Kelly Shryock leads the Wilmont Oil IMCA a mods championship standings with Justin Luinenburg on top of the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA hobby stocks and Nate Coopman in Position 1 of the Boji Bay Water Park IMCA sport compacts standings. All three drivers have won the first three rounds of the season in their classes.
Dustin Larson is leading the IMCA stock cars standings and Matthew Looft the Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA sport mods standings.
Tickets for Saturday are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors ages 65 and older, $6 for students ages 13 to 18 and free for children ages 12 and younger. Pit passes are $30.
The pits will open at 4 p.m. with the main gates opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled for 7 p.m.
Jackson Motorplex will also be in action on Friday featuring an all sprint car show during Dakotas Night. Anyone who presents their valid driver’s license from North Dakota or South Dakota will receive half price on general admission into Friday’s event showcasing the Spirit Lake Silver & Gold NSL 410 Sprint Cars with the National Sprint League, Last-Deck® 360 Sprint Cars and Liquid Nitro IMCA 305 Sprint Cars.
Tickets for Friday are $20 for adult general admission, $17 for seniors ages 65 and older, $10 for students ages 13 to 18 and free for children ages 12 and younger. Pit passes are $35.
The pits are slated to open at 3:00 p.m. with the front gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps will begin around 7:30 p.m.
