Urish, Lunsford, Sophie Frazier in victory lane at Sweet Springs season opener
By Chris Hale (Sweet Springs, MO) -- Willie Urish kicked off the 2019 race season with a convincing win in the Winged Outlaw class. Urish started 4th and made quick work of the field. Chris Koch started 9th and charged his way to the runner up spot. Nick Rasa ran a hard fought 3rd.

Sophie Frazier got her first win in the Restrictor class. Despite many caution flags, Frazier got out front early and never looked back. Garrett Benson got second in his first start in the Restrictor class at Sweet Springs. Tyler Devenport came home third.
Garrett Hulsey, Riley Goodno and Xavier Doney had a spirited battle in the Winged A class. Hulsey got the win with Goodno second and Doney rounding out the podium.
Brian Lunsford got the win in the caution-filled Non Winged class. Garrett Hulsey came home second with Garet Williamson getting third.
Jack Thomas got a win in the Junior Sprint class with Talin Turner and Peyton White rounding out the podium.
Marcus Mendez won in the Sportsman class with Justin Dick and Robert Bledsoe in the top 3.
