LICHTFELD WINS BLYSTONE TOWING 50 IN UMA LATE MODELS

Wisconsin Dells WI 5/18/24-Mike Lichtfeld from Pardeeville WI picked up his second win of the season in the UMA Late Models at Dells Raceway Park over Hunter Stenson of Wisconsin in the Blystone Towing & Recovery 50. Randy Sargent of Rockford IL and Wisconsin Dells Jason Stark brought the field to green and it and Sargent built a comfortable lead. The caution flew for a battle for second as fast qualifier Kevin Kulka and Jason Stark got together entering turn one and both cars were sent to the rear leaving the door open for Lichtfeld to enter the top three. On the restart Sargent grabbed the lead but was stalked by Lichtfeld and eventually Lichtfeld took the lead off turn two in the closing laps for his second win of the year followed by Hunter Stenson, Randy Sargent, Mahlon Borntreger and Nick Nolden rounded out the top five. The Fast Qualifier for the night was Kevin Kulka, The Diamond Wheels Fast Dash went to Hunter Stenson, Heat Winners were Brandyn Wind and Alex Braseth.
