LICHTFELD SCORES GANDRUD PERFORMANCE 50 IN UMA LATE MODELS
Wisconsin Dells WI 5/11/24-Pardeeville Wisconsin’s Mike Lichtfeld scored his first win of the 2024 UMA Late Model Season at Dells Raceway Park in the Gandrud Performance Parts 50. Jason Stark and Brian Johnson Jr. brought the stacked 22 car field to the green. Mahlon Bontreger would fight to the front and lead the first 15 laps. Mike Lichtfeld would enter the lead battle from his 9th starting spot. Borntreger and Lichtfeld would battle hard, eventually the 2 time defending Champion coming out with the lead. Lichtfeld would cruise to the victory under the DRP lights. Lichtfeld was followed to the line by Borntreger, Hunter Stenson, Michael Bilderback and Nick Nolden. Mike Lichtfeld was fast qualifier with a lap of 14.181. The Diamond Wheels Fast Dash was won by Jesse Bernhagen. The heat races were won by Logan Graham and Michael Bilderback. The Gandrud Performance Parts Late Models return to action Next week May 18th for Blystone Towing and Recovery Night at the races.
