FENHAUS CAPTURES BADGER STATE 125

Wisconsin Dells WI-Luke Fenhaus stays atop the Alive for 5 power rankings with an impressive win in the Badger State 125 Presented by Lube USA. Jordan DeVoy and Nick Egan started on the front row by virtue of qualifying heat wins earlier in the night. Nick Eagan would jump out to the early lead and try to get away as the field fought behind him. Immediately it was a story of comers and goers as the pace and passing around the storied 1/3 mile was fast and furious, Egan would first contend with fellow front row started Jordan DeVoy but would clear him and wait for the next challenge That challenge would come from current Championship Point leader and 2021 Alive for 5 Champion Luke Fenhaus. Egan would lead the first 18 laps before Fenhaus who started 4th row outside was able to power past for the lead. Fenhaus would be surgical maintaining a constant lead all the way to the lap 75 fuel and adjustment break. After the 10 minute break cars were back on track for the 50 lap fight to the finish. Fenhaus would fight off many restarts and challengers in the final 50, Jordan DeVoy, Dalton Zehr, Gabe Sommers all had a shot to challenge the 4 car but it was just not in the cards as the 4 of Fenhaus drove to the checkers and a “Polish Victory Lap” in front of the DRP faithful. Fenhaus would be followed to the line by Dalton Zehr, John DeAngelis, Gabe Sommers and Max Kahler. John DeAngelis Jr. was fastest in qualifying with a lap of 13.317. The Alive for 5 Series Returns to Dells Raceway Park Sunday afternoon September 24th for the rescheduled IceBreaker 100 Presented Wegner Automotive on Midwest Championship Weekend.
