TWO FOR TRUTE IN UMA SPORTSMAN
Wisconsin Dells WI-New Lisbon’s Dave Trute stayed hot on Quality Freight Rate Night at the Races collecting his second straight win. John Zuch and Carson Sillars brought a beautiful group of UMA Sportsman to the line for their 25 lap A Main. Zuch would jump out to the early lead followed closely by Sillars and.they would get away as the 2 by two racing kept the fast qualifiers at bay for the time being. Andrew Borntreger would be the first to challenge the 8 ball car of Zuch and he would make the pass as Trute would break free and go after the leaders a Late caution and an Appearance by the Five Star Concrete and Excavating Lane Choice Cone would set the table for the final battle to the checker. Borntreger would take the bottom but in this case was followed by 3 cars to the bottom opening the door for Trute to gain 3 spots and line up next to your race leader. Trute would out dual Borntreger and cruise to the line for the decisive victory. Borntreger would be second and followed by Logan Delaney, John Zuch and Henry Vian. Trute would be fast time with a lap of 14.812. The fast dash would go to Kaleb Hurless and the heat race would go to John Zuch. The UMA Sportsman return to DRP June 17th as part of the Logan’s Heroes Pro Late Model Triple Crown Round 2.
