MATT MOORE VICTORIOUS IN SIX-SHOOTER THRILLER AT DRP
Wisconsin Dells WI-Matt Moore of Kendall WI collected his first win in of the 2023 season in the Six-Shooter division over Dustin McCracken. Erich Brunn and Cory Skolaski brought the 13 car field to the green flag for their 18 lap feature. The whole crowd was on their feet as they were nearly 4 wide entering turn 1. Cory Skolaski would briefly hold the lead as a controlled mayhem happened just behind him. Tim Murphy and Skolaski would battle as Matt Moore all the way from the 7th starting spot would ride in their tire tracks waiting for an opportunity to pounce. The opportunity would present itself just as Dustin McCracken, Chuck Muller and Defending Champion Joshua Zacharias would join the furious battle. The 4 cars broke away with a seesaw back and forth battle that was both clean and tactical. It would come down to Moore and McCracken at the line as Moore eked out .108 second victory in an absolute gem of a race. McCracken would settle for second followed closely by Muller, Zacharias and Murphy. Dustin McCraken set fast time with a new Six Shooter track record of 17.722. Moore won the Fast Dash and Tim Murphy won the heat race. The Six Shooters return to DRP June 10th for what is sure to be another great show.
