Kyle Hammer records Top-10 finish with World of Outlaws at Atomic
On Friday evening, Kyle Hammer returned with the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series as the tour invaded the Buckeye State for the two-day event at Atomic Speedway (Alma, Ohio). With 35 Late Models entered, Kyle followed up a fifth-place finish in his heat with a runner-up finish in his B-Main. Starting the feature in 20th, Hammer held his spot in the 40-lapper to finish 20th. (Jacy Norgaard photo)
The following night, Hammer laid down the second-fastest time in his group before picking up a heat race victory. Receiving the second-starting position for the $15,000-to-win A-Main via the redraw, Kyle led the opening circuit before fading back to 10th when the checkered flag flew.
He is currently 10th in the latest World of Outlaws point standings.
