Mihocko On Top With ASCS Desert Non-Wing At Arizona Speedway

Bryan Hulbert – QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (October 31, 2021) Charging from 10th Saturday night with the San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Series, Peoria’s Tye Mihocko captured the win at Arizona Speedway.

The first time Mihocko has topped the wingless series, the lead went to the way of the No. 3t on Lap 17. Getting around Bruce St. James for the point, the margin of victory ended up being 3.908-seconds. “The Radio Flyer” finished second with Troy DeGaton third. Bryan Leadbetter, Jr. and Joshua Shipley completed the top five.

Patrick Krob was sixth with Pete Yerkovich, Ronald Webster, Philp Deeney, and Justin Kierce made up the top ten.

The 2021 season wraps up for the San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Series during the Copper Classic on Friday, November 26, and Saturday, November 27.

The 2021 season marks the 30th year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation includes 11 regional tours encompassing both wing and non-wing competition.
