ASCS Desert Non-Wing Back In Action At Arizona Speedway
Bryan Hulbert – QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (October 27, 2020) Back on track this Saturday, October 31, the San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Series is set to headline Halloween Havoc at Arizona Speedway. Round 7 of the 2020 season, three rounds remain, with all three outings set to take place at the Queen Creek oval.
Going into this Saturday’s event, Randy Nelson holds the lead in tour standings by three over Tucson’s Ryan Murphy. Third is currently in the hands of Aaron Jones with Pete Yerkovich and Rick Shuman making up the top five.
Looking at this Saturday’s showdown, the San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Series will be competing for a $1,500 top prize thanks to RSS Industries, who added $500. Other classes on the card include IMCA Sport Mods, Stock Cars, and Bombers. The track will be hosting a Trunk or Treat on the front straightaway during intermission, with free hay rides throughout the night.
Limited to 60% capacity, tickets are on sale at http://www.arizonaspeedway.net. Admission, if purchased online, is $20 for adults, $5 for youth 6-12, and free for kids five and under. Tickets sold the day of the race will be an additional $5. Pit Passes can also be purchased online for $35 and will be an extra $10 at the gate.
