Wild West Shootout Brings Nothdurft to Arizona

On Saturday night Blair Nothdurft traveled to FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) kicking off the 14th annual Wild West Shootout. In a field of 46 Late Models, Blair followed up the fastest lap in his time trial group with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Earning the 13th-starting position for the opening night feature, Nothdurft was an early retiree from the 40-lap affair on lap 21. He was credited with a 23rd place outing.

Returning on Sunday afternoon, Nothdurft came in 7th in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Needing to place 3rd or better, Blair fell short with an 11th place finish.
