Friday Night Drags Are A Go June 5th!
Welcome to phase two! A last-minute FRIDAY NIGHT DRAGS is on the schedule for tomorrow June 5th (Friday Night)! That's right we are swinging open the gates to the street racers tomorrow night. Call you friends and let them know not only are we racing in the Mud on Saturday but we get to play on the Strip at Coos Bay Speedway tomorrow night!
Gates will open at 6 pm, with open grudge matches from 7pm-11pm. Here is your chance to play on the stip once again!
Driver/Passenger $20
Spectator $5 (Every Ticket Is A Pit Pass)
Kids 6 & Under FREE
All social distancing rules apply and any violators will be escorted off the property.
HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDELINES:
-No persons shall be permitted on the grounds of Coos Bay Speedway Bar & Grill if they are sick or symptomatic with fever, cough, and/or shortness of breath.
-The use of face masks covering the nose and mouth will be mandatory for all employees/volunteers that will be in direct contact with visitors. All others will be highly encouraged to use face masks.
-Use of gloves is mandatory for food workers and is highly suggested for all other employees/volunteers.
-Hand sanitizer will be made available for everyone. Stations will be placed in/around all restrooms, food windows and communal areas.
-When possible, walking paths will be indicated with direction and traffic flow and to facilitate physical distancing
FACILITY OPERATING PROCEDURES:
-Coos Bay Speedway Bar & Grill will operate with a limited number of staff in each designated position (Concessions, Track Officials, General/Security)
-Competitors are not required to attend – registration and attendance is strictly voluntary.
-Grandstand/Pit seating will be marked off with every 3rd row being open to facilitate physical distancing of at least 6 feet between spectators/groups
-Social distancing monitors will be observing activities and will assist in maintaining physical distancing when appropriate.
-Restrooms and communal areas will be cleaned and sanitized at the beginning, during and after each event day.
-Counters will be periodically wiped and sanitized as well as any communal items.
-Signage will be posted in food preparation areas, reminding employees to maintain the highest cleanliness standard.
-Employees/Volunteers will be asked to maintain at least 6 feet from others and limit the number of people within any building or structure.
-Employees/Volunteers will be asked to stay within their designated positions during the event day, reducing contact between positions. (Concessions, Track Officials, General/Security)
-When possible, contact with the public will be minimized.
-Gloves/Masks/Sanitizer will be made readily available for employees/volunteers.
