NHRA Drags Are Back This Weekend May 10-12
It's once again a drag racing weekend here at the speedway, this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we will light up the 1/8 mile strip at Coos Bay Speedway. Friday we will kick things off with the second Midnight Street Drags of the season. After a good showing two weeks ago we are excited about giving the community a place to play with their cars off the street and on the race track.
Midnight Street Drags with an NHRA Test & Tune on Friday Night May 10. The gates will open at 6pm with the prepped track going hot from 8pm-Midnight. Bring any vehicle out to the speedway and play, get time slips with every pass and challenge a buddy to a grudge race.
Then Saturday & Sunday we will be bracket racing with the ET Summit Series Drags. Come watch some fast cars make passes down the strip reaching over 100 MPH. Sunday will also see round two of a 4 race series between all NW Division Tracks called the Land of the Leaders Challenge. The winner of this Challenge gets to go to Seattle Washington at the end of the year to collect a jacket and a trophy.
Be sure to stop on in on any of the three days this weekend as we will be having fun here on the 1/8 Mile Drag Strip.
