Limaland Motorsports Park
Bowersock wins rain shortened modified feature, NRA Sprints and Thunderstock features to be made up at later date
Mother Nature is not a fan of dirt track racing in 2023. For the second straight week, rains struck as feature action got underway at Limaland Motorsports Park. The Midwest Shooting Center DIRTcar UMP Modifieds were able to complete 10 of the 20 scheduled laps in their A Main, making the event official. Wapakoneta Ohio’s Jerry “The Jedi Bowersock picked up the feature win in the Al and Eric Austin owned No. 5X. No. 36 Brandon Vaughan finished second with No. 65 Todd Sherman third, No. 82 Dalton Lane fourth, and No. 463 Daniel Sanchez completing the top five.
Lineups have been set for the 23rd Annual Run For The Rabbit NRA Sprint Invader A Main, and the Lock Sixteen Thunderstocks A Main. Dates and Lineups to be posted.
Limaland Motorsports Park is back in action next Friday May 26th for the Memorial Cup. In action will be the NRA Sprint Invaders, Midwest Shooting Center DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, and Lock Sixteen Thunderstocks. Pit Gates Open at 4:30PM, Grandstand Gates open at 5:00PM, Hot Laps at 6:30PM, and racing at 7:30PM. General admission for adults 16 and older is $15, ages 11 to 15 $7, and kids 10 and under admitted FREE. Pit passes for all ages are $30.
