Countdown to the Lowes Foods World of Outlaws World Finals Presented By Bimbo Bakeries and Tom’s Snacks: 6 Days

Concord, NC—October 29, 2010— The Fourth Annual Lowes Foods World of Outlaws World Finals Presented By Bimbo Bakeries and Tom’s Snacks at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina is quickly approaching, November 4-6 for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, along with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds. In the 15 days leading up to the three-day action packed season ender, World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series drivers will share their thoughts on what has become one of the “Must See” marquee events of the year.

Next up is Paul McMahan, who competed in each of the first two World Finals and will be returning to the event this season for the first time since 2008. The veteran has raced 18 times at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, scoring nine Top-10 finishes along the way, with five of those being Top-Fives. He finished seventh at the track earlier this season as he continues to fill in for the injured Cody Darrah at Kasey Kahne Racing, which is based just down the road from the track in Mooresville, North Carolina. McMahan has won once this season and has 49 Top-10 finishes as he battles for the fifth spot in points.

Paul McMahan, Driver of the No. 91 Great Clips Maxim:

“It’s fun to go to Charlotte and race, but it’s kind of bittersweet for me because it’s the end of the season. I’m really excited to go to Charlotte, but at the same time I don’t want to see the season end yet. It will be something different having the Big Block Modifieds there and it will be fun and bring new fans to our races I hope. As a driver it’s neat to see the (Billy) Moyer’s and the (Donny) Moran’s, the Bret Hearn’s and the guys we don’t get to see race very often be out there. That will be pretty cool.”

The finale of the World Finals will air live on SPEED on Saturday, November 6 beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern, with Bobby Gerould on the call with Hall of Famer Brad Doty offering expert analysis.

On Thursday, November 4, adult tickets will be $20 with tickets for children ages 12-under $10. Three-day ticket packages are available for adults for $69 and for children ages 12-under for $24. For tickets visit http://www.charlottemotorspeedway.com or call 1-800-455-FANS.
