Washington Modified Tour
Funtime Promotions is pleased to announce the formation of the ‘Washington Modified Tour’. The 11 race series will compete at 3 Washington tracks from April through September.
“The modifieds are the fastest growing class in the state” said Funtime Promotions General Manager Steve Beitler, “Our group wanted to acknowledge the quality of the teams we have racing in the Northwest and give them a series that allows them to race at different tracks and not have to travel a long distance”.
The driver that accumulates the most points in the 11 race series will be crowned ‘The Washington State Modified Champion’. The 1st place team will also receive a check for $1,000 courtesy of Shipwreck Beads. Positions 2 through 10 will also receive championship money and product certificates from Finishline Graphics and Highline Performance.
The season kicks off April 4th at the Central Washington State Fair Dirt Track in Yakima. The tour will follow the same rules package as Skagit Speedway and Grays Harbor Raceway.
